Koroipita is a settlement of low income earners who in the past have been homeless. The town provides a new home, running water, sewerage, electricity, child education and a secure environment for families. Koroipita is a model project where tourism can help to provide a proper home and a stable environment for displaced and homeless families. Koroipita Mission To give impoverished families an opportunity to break free from the cycle of poverty and provide an improved quality of life for them and their children, by designing and developing fully serviced subdivisions, with affordable and durable housing, supporting their education and providing long term development programmes for self-sustainable communities.

• Build Homes
Our goal is to construct five new homes annually. During selected public holidays, we organize community working weekends at Koroipita, where our dedicated staff volunteers their long weekends to build homes, enhance facilities, and engage in community development work. Koroipita is an ongoing project focused on building low-cost housing to improve living conditions for impoverished families. • Help Single Mothers
Together with Fusion Holidays Australia, we placed significant orders for cotton beach bags from the Koroipita clothing factory, a small micro-business run by six single mothers in Koroipita. Each bag, costing $20.00, contributed to a total order of 11,000 bags, amounting to $228,000.00 in payments to the factory. We store and distribute these bags as a special Fijian gift to every Fusion customer upon their arrival at Nadi International Airport. This initiative not only supports the economic empowerment of single mothers but also promotes sustainable, locally-made products. It’s a testament to the positive impact that our collaborative efforts can have on the community.
