Suva City Tour

Suva City Tour

Suva is the capital city of Fiji. Located on the southeast coast of the island of Viti Levu, the largest of the other 800 islands which compromises the republic of Fiji. As the largest urban area in the South Pacific outside of Australia and New Zealand, it is Fiji’s main port city, and the commercial and political centre of Fiji.

Local folk traditions remain strong, like fire-walks and welcoming ceremonies, wood-carving of the fabrication of tree-bark cloth. On your exclusive shore event today, share some of the secrets of Fiji’s heritage and aspects of this friendly, hospitable island, full of smiles and colours.

Drive through the city seeing its many attractions and experience some of the local folk traditions along with a taste of local cuisine and a chance to relax at a stunning beach resort.

Your guide will greet you with a welcoming ‘Bula’ as you board your coach and begin your exploration with a panoramic city drive. Admire the colonial-style architecture of this colourful, laid-back city. Pass the main sites on your coach such as the parliament buildings, the University of the South Pacific, the President's Residence and Albert Park (where Kingsford Smith landed his small aircraft on his epic flight from USA to Australia in 1928). Also see Thurston Botanical gardens, The Borron House (home of Fiji’s Greatest statesman Ratu Sukuna and for use only by foreign dignitaries) and the Fiji School of Medicine.
